Brief description NFC is being integrated in mobile phones in a growing extend. One can already find mobile phones with NFC built-in. NFC is based on RFID techniques and enables mobile phones for a manifold of applications that include for example contact-less payment for purchasing tickets, downloading information from a passive RFID tag, as security ID and more. Other than with RFID, some devices can also act as a reader (poller) as well as a listener. Three types of NFC are to be distinguished, all working on the same frequency of 13.56 MHz, but with different data rates and modulation characteristics: NFC-A, NFC-B and NFC-F. The R&S®SMBV-K89 supports all three. The option supports signal generation for both directions, for Polling and Listening signals. The flexible generation of the signals supports all the different command types from the standard. In the sequence configurator, you can easily put together a complete message sequence to do a real test with a NFC device.''
